In this role, you will be responsible for the travel advisor training strategy and its implementation across North America. You will ensure appropriate training content is produced and it's use optimized throughout the retail agency sector and that it meets HIC's strategic and tactical commercial objectives. In addition, you will oversee the Travel Advisor Onboarding team and be responsible for the programs growth and success. A successful Senior Manager Travel Advisor Training and Onboarding will: Develop a comprehensive quarterly and annual training calendar that meets the needs of travel advisors across varying levels of experience with HIC and the strategic and tactical commercial needs of HIC. Work closely with Marketing department to ensure regular communication with our advisors on training opportunities via social, e-blasts and website listings to optimize reach and participation. Work in liaison with the Business Development Specialist (BDS) and the field sales team (BDM's) to identify and develop new accounts and for their participation in the Travel Agent Onboarding program. Develop in liaison with the BDS onboarding training programs and initiatives that advance advisor knowledge of target market sectors. Develop a comprehensive suite of reporting dashboards in Salesforce as KPI's and monitoring and refine reporting processes in the Travel Agent Onboarding Program for greater accuracy and ease of obtaining data. Work with the AVP Sales & Strategy to ensure that the overall training program is fully aligned with the department strategies ensuring full compliance and inclusion of HIC promotions and inclusions. Survey advisor attendees on training content and use this in liaison with leadership to continue to evolve our training program to be best in class. Attend as required conferences and events for presentations and training opportunities and devise follow up tactics for additional travel advisor training opportunities, post conference. A successful Senior Manager Travel Advisor Training and Onboarding will have: Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent education level. Minimum of five-years field sales experience. Considerable experiences in training, presenting and public speaking. Exceptional knowledge of HIC resorts, market segments and corporate strategies. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suites and Salesforce. Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset.
