Position Summary As the Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement, you will play a critical role in leading our procurement function and developing strategic sourcing initiatives. You will be responsible for managing a team of commodity professionals, overseeing the procurement process for key categories of goods and services, and identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, quality improvements and lead time reductions. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement best practices, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Job Duties/Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories of goods and services. Lead the development and execution of RFPs, RFQs, and other commercial documents. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure best value and optimal terms. Oversee the procurement process from requisition to contract management and payment. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Analyze commodity spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities. Employ “should cost” and product cost modeling. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement performance. Leader on industry trends and best practices in procurement. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, operations, finance) and external suppliers. Manage procurement budget and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Implement procedures to verify supplier certifications and/or adherence to relevant regulations. Analyze potential risks throughout the supply chain, including performance, compliance, business practices, geography, etc. Define appropriate mitigation plans. Work with NPI Teams and contract manufacturers to obtain the lowest possible FG buy price Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a procurement role, with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and risk management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to manage and lead a team. Experience with procurement software and data analysis tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual. Work Environment This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.
