Position Overview As the Sr. Manager, FP&A, you will be the "go-to" person for data analytics and KPIs which will support a broad range of strategic decisions and value creation initiatives across the Company. Your work product will underpin day-to-day executive decision making, annual budgeting, forecasting, board financial reports, M&A, and the Company's 5-year strategic plan. You will be relied on to accurately conduct analyses from beginning to end but also to appropriately synthesize the results, pulling out the relevant insights and highlighting key questions that emerge. You will report directly to the VP FP&A and regularly interact with members of senior leadership including CEO, COO, CRO, SVP Corporate Development and sales leaders. You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in ad hoc projects such as pricing strategy, international expansion planning, quota setting, competitive intelligence gathering, new product launches, M&A, strategic partnerships, etc. This role will give you broad exposure to the company's highest priority cross-functional initiatives, and strong performance will fast-track you for a leadership position at the Company. We are looking for an ambitious, intellectually curious, self-starter to join us as we continue to build out our FP&A function. Specific Roles & Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of the company's existing data infrastructure, including how the data is produced, where it is housed, anomalies and patterns, data flows between systems, etc. Pull, cleanse, and verify the integrity of source data, primarily from salesforce.com and NetSuite Present data findings in a clear and concise manner, using tables and charts (in PowerPoint as needed) Produce weekly update report on sales performance and pipeline activity to assess key trends, drive revenue visibility and evaluate budget variances Own company-wide monthly KPI reporting, highlighting trends, investigating variances and recommending additional metrics to monitor key business drivers Lead forecasting process for sales and renewals working in conjunction with respective department leaders Assist with preparation of certain aspects of monthly financial reports and related management discussion & analysis (MD&A) Assist with preparation of quarterly board materials which will include outputs from analyses/projects you lead Play a critical role in evaluation and due diligence processes for add-on acquisitions, including building financial projections and pro-forma models Partner closely with sales leadership and other departments who will rely on you as the company's data expert Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to support a wide range of strategic projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Meaningful experience in an analytical role, such as FP&A or professional services (management consulting, investment banking, private equity, etc.) Extensive experience working with large datasets, modeling and conducting data analysis within Microsoft Excel Experience working with SaaS companies preferred Experience with salesforce.com is a plus but can also be learned on the job Experience with data visualization/BI tools such as Tableau is helpful but can also be learned on the job Competencies and Skills Required for Success: Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to self-direct and work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Structured thinking, detail orientation, highly organized Ability to multi-task and collaborate with multiple constituents across the organization Excellent verbal and written communication Adaptability and willingness to change direction based on the needs of a high growth business Extreme ownership and commitment to getting deliverables done accurately and on-time (zero-defect orientation) Team player willing and able to put in extra time as needed to support critical company deliverables Why Teaching Strategies We strongly believe that the work we do every day makes the world a better place.
