Description: Our Edmonton-based client in the financial services sector, is seeking a talented Senior Integration Specialist for a 3+ month contract employment opportunity. The successful Senior Integration Specialist will be responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and vision of all activities related to the integration of software, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization. Integration between on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications will be the primary focus of this contract-based role. Responsibilities: Develop EA system integration standards. Develop and maintain the technology stack to include commercial or open-source integration platforms. Develop and maintain an application architecture blueprint for the organization. Provide expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology and system architecture including integration best practices. Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact enterprise-wide development/architecture - integration standards. Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code. Work with project teams to define requirements for integration strategies of their projects into Enterprise Architecture. Oversee development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio.
