My Client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology and Natural Flood Management, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Civil Engineer to join their team based in Reading. Alternative locations available. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers and Hydrologists to complete Flood Risk, Flood Defence and River Restoration Projects for local Authorities and Government Bodies. As a Senior Civil Engineer you will required to complete technical work including; : River Restoration design and Natural Flood Risk Management. : Flood Alleviation Schemes and Flood Gate Design. : Design and repair of Weirs, Walls and Embankments. : Design of River Works and Hydraulic Structures including Watercourse Diversions, Reinforced Concrete Design and Repairs. : Site visits if required by the Asset Management Team. This role offers a competitive salary, substantial benefits package, company benefits and career progression. It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Management Projects, Flood Alleviation Schemes and design of Embankments, Weirs and River Restoration Schemes using Auto CAD. This role can be based in numerous locations across the UK and will offer hybrid working.
