Senior Family Time Worker needed with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Senior Family Time Worker needed with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Start Date- ASAPLocation – Kensington Duration – Initially 4 months Hours per week – 36 hours per week Salary – £26 ltd an hour Description: To work as part of a team, carrying out and developing the duties and responsibilities required for the day to day running of the Family Time Service To plan, arrange and manage Family Time activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring effective joint working with social workers and other partners to deliver an effective Family Time service To oversee and supervise complex or difficult Family Time contacts and other contacts as needed To make arrangements for families to have pre-visits to designated family centres To undertake risk backssments for potential venues for contacts including pre-visits to family homes to ensure safe environments to work in and visit What is required Relevant qualification; this could be in a Psychology; Sociology or Health and Social Care, a Teaching Certificate, an NNEB & Early Years training or a NVQ Level 3 or above Experience in a supervisory role Experience of working directly with children and their families Ability to manage and supervise contact workerinteractionperience and understanding of the issues that surround children living away from their parents If you are interested please call Jemma Molloy on 01772 xyzxyz or email me your CV – If this role isn’t right for you, but you know someone who would fit perfectly to our engaged and devoted team and you refer them, you will receive a referral bonus of £250.
