JOB SUMMARY: Salary Range: $80,000 - $168,946 The Senior Engineer, Engineering Services North is accountable to research, develop and implement tasks, methodologies, and practices for the corporation. As a member of Sask Power’s management team, this position is responsible for assisting with and/or preparing technical studies, business cases, designs, specifications, tender evaluations, and equipment and construction drawings. This position will prepare project plans, costs, and schedules and provide contract management and project coordination services, ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Supports the Manager, Engineering Services North, by attending plant maintenance meetings, and supports engineering group work planning and monitoring. • Provides technical leadership, support, oversight, and mentorship to engineering and maintenance personnel. • Supports operations and maintenance through troubleshooting equipment and system issues/failures, and leading root cause analysis of failures. • Performs engineering, project and construction management, and commissioning on new designs, retrofits, and upgrades to facility electrical, instrumentation.
