We are currently searching for a number of key technical resources, including a dynamic and skilled Embedded Software Designer who can ramp up quickly and is eager to work on the latest embedded processor and SOC subsysem technology. Key Responsibilities: Specification and development of base layer embedded software for use in Linux or RTOS environments. Design and implementation of software to control SOC or FPGA hardware. Collaborate closely with engineering colleagues in the hardware group. Key Qualifications: A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience A minimum of 5 years of relevant embedded software experience Experience with C required; Assembly, C++, Python preferred Experience with embedded software development in a Linux environment including multi-threading and IPC Experience customizing Linux and Linux kernels for embedded systems Experience designing and bringing up BOOTROMs required, U-Boot preferred Low level architectural understanding and development experience with ARM embedded processors required Experience in low level HAL, driver development and register interface programming of networking SOCs, ASICs and FPGAs preferred Other RTOS experience (e. g. Vx Works) and porting/maintaining BSPs preferred Experience with general algorithms, data structures and memory management preferred Experience with standard device interfaces e. g.
