Senior Business Systems Analyst

DMBA is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the IT Department to deliver and maintain a variety of software solutions. This experienced professional is proficient eliciting requirements from business users, identifying necessary changes to applications and/or the selection of new solutions, decomposing requirements into functional specifications, and configuring newly implemented and modified applications. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, resourceful with technology to improve business operations, an excellent communicator, a self-motivated problem solver, and efficiently and effectively completes maintenance and project work. Additional Key Duties: Leads projects (e.g., system enhancements, maintenance upgrades, and new implementations) in partnership with the business, developers, and as applicable, vendor professional services Assumes ongoing ownership for the configuration and reliability of various assigned solutions Performs business analysis to assess business processes and systems Performs testing and quality validation for conformance to specifications and business requirements Serves as a subject matter expert for certain systems and corresponding business processes Takes corrective action with technical Help Desk tickets Education and Experience Requirements: 5-10 years of experience or expert knowledge of IT systems analysis and support Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering (relevant experience may be substituted for a degree) Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the applications development environment, database, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints SaaS experience, including administration and user access management Very clear verbal and written communications Proven abilities with context switching and managing multiple competing priorities Experience with and knowledge of business systems and processes, such as general ledger, investments, personnel management, payroll, and payables Application of scrum agile principles Skilled with vendor interactions, including contract/pricing negotiation, and facilitating security/legal reviews Constantly learning and applying the new knowledge Having or pursuing a relevant master's degree and/or relevant certifications What We Offer: A wonderful, exciting culture Competitive pay and benefits Excellent medical, vision and dental benefits with low premiums (we are the #1 health plan in Utah!)
