Position: VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation has an opening for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and is capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. This role leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business. In this position you will work directly with senior management. You will achieve this through sit-down sessions with executives and business professionals to understand what the business is trying to measure, track and understand. You will then use NetSuite and Power BI to identify, source, integrate and transform to support ongoing reporting and analysis. You will work iteratively with business stakeholders to develop and refine key performance indicators, visualizations, reports, and dashboards. The information that you provide helps guide day-to-day operational decisions and strategic planning. We are looking for a candidate that wants to grow and advance within our business. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS Identify relevant data and metrics to analyze. Share data insights with business users. Write and run BI queries. Support self-service BI users Build analytical data models. Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports. REQUIREMENTS Proficiency in understanding data and doing data modeling, profiling, and validation. Expertise in using data mining, query, analysis, visualization, and reporting tools. Familiarity with database management systems and data warehouse technologies. Communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as an inquisitive nature; and General business acumen, plus specific industry knowledge . Hours M-F 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (may be subject to change with the needs of the business) Wage Compensation based upon experience level and capabilities.
