Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention OfficerLocation: Fargo, NDJob Description:- Identify shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV- Report writing- Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed- Provide court room testimony as requiredAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.Full-time/ 40 hours per weekJob Requirement:- Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time- Reliable transportation- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision- Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated- Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus Have not been convicted or adjudged guilty in any jurisdiction of one of the following offenses or its equivalent in another jurisdiction, including juvenile adjudication that the individual has engaged in similar conduct: any felony, any class A or B misdemeanor involving an act of violence or intimidation as defined in North Dakota Century Code chapters 12.1-16 through 12.1-25 and chapter 12.1-31.2 or involving controlled substances as defined in North Dakota Century Code chapter 19-03.1, any offense involving theft as defined in North Dakota Century Code chapter 12.1-23, including shoplifting; or any other offense which must be reported to the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation under North Dakota Century Code section 12.1-32-15.
