We are looking for a Full time Security Guard to work at a Mall. As a member of the Garda World team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule: FT Various shifts, days, nights, etc Timings: Shifts will range from 1400hrs to 2200hrs, 1600hrs-0000hrs & 1800hrs-2200hrs and 0000hrs to 0800hrs. Location: 900 Maple Ave, Burlington Pay rate : $17.55 Training shifts: Minimum three shifts; 1000hrs to 1800hrs, 1600hrs to 0000hrs, 0000hrs to 0800hr What does a Security Guard in Burlington do? Perform patrols on foot Dealing with customers and tenant disputes Locking mall entrances Provide excellent customer service to everyone on the property Work closely with the mall services as well as with the emergency services when appropriate Apply property rules and regulations in a fair and responsible manner Write daily and incident reports Intervene during medical emergencies and provide first aid Be prepared to respond to situations of crime, urgency and disturbance occurring at the mall Facilitate access to authorized persons to restricted areas Monitor closed circuit cameras (if applicable) to ensure proper operation of the shopping center Answer and follow up on phone calls received by the security service Monitor the fire alarm system and fire extinguisher system What's in it for you?
