Position: Security Engineer Ref 312785 Location: Harrisburg, PA 17101 Salary: $45 /hr. Duration: 5+ Months - Contract Overview The person in this position performs highly advanced technical support for the department's details security program. Under the direction of the Chief Info Security Office/ CISO this position will assist with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems. This person will be responsible for the day to day support and upkeep of the departments security applications on an as needed basis. The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems is maintained. The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the department's firewalls. This person will also consult with development teams and provide recommendations to maintain a secure computing environment to the CISO. This position will work with the CISO on disaster recovery initiatives ensuring the security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire department is maintained. This includes designing and implementing disaster recovery processes and business continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic. This person will also perform and analyze disaster simulations for the prompt restoration of services, and conduct security assessments. Required / Desired Skill Hands-on background with Checkpoint firewalls required Required 3 yrs In-depth knowledge of PC operations, and PC encryption Required five years Perform security assessments client devices etc... Desired 2 years Network and Details Security Required 4 yrs Thorough knowledge PC connectivity products and PC hardware connectivity Required 5 yrs Microsoft office suite products Outlook, Microsoft word, Ms excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio Highly desired six months Develop/present recommendations to senior management Highly desired one years Active Directory User Groups and Folders Permissions etc... Required 2
