We are currently seeking a Scrum Master to join our team in Fully Remote, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA). Responsibilities for this Role Ensures that artifacts are reviewed and updated regularly with the Team and Product Owner: Product Vision, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Sprint Progress, Definition of Ready (Do R), Definition of Done (Do D), Estimates, Capacity, Velocity, and Burn-down. Facilitating Sprint Planning , Review and Retrospective; additional ceremonies such as Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrum; and ad-hoc conversations between the team and product owner Ensures that the Product Owner aligns sprint backlog to the SMTP Roadmap and to the Sprint Goals. Resource Planning to ensure resources are aligned to the timeline. Risk and Issue Management and Stakeholder Management (directly supporting the Organizational Change Management team). Protect scrum team from internal and external interference; Communicating with Management and outside stakeholders on expectations on how to interact with team Facilitating individual and sprint goal planning, with fallow-up on if goals are met Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption, help to enact Agile practices Working with other Scrum Master's and Release Train Engineer to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization Managing a backlog in collaboration with Product Owner(s) and team Lean-agile leadership, agile process facilitation, enabling the team, identification and removal of impediments. Foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow and relentless improvement.
