Position Overview: Renogy is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced RV Solar Installer to join our team. As an RV Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing and auditing solar power systems on recreational vehicles (RVs) to provide sustainable and efficient power to our clients. Your role will involve working closely with clients, assessing their needs, and designing solar power systems that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining these systems to ensure their proper functioning. Duties and Responsibilities: Consult with clients to determine their power requirements and assess their RV's electrical system to determine the best solar power system design. Design and install solar power systems on RVs according to client requirements and specifications. Install wiring and mounting brackets for solar panels and batteries. Connect and test all components of the solar power system, including the solar panels, batteries, and inverters. Troubleshoot and resolved any issues that may arise during the installation process. Provide clients with training on how to use and maintain their RV solar power system. Maintain accurate records of all installations and services provided. Stay up to date with industry developments and technologies related to RV solar power systems. Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of installations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in electrical installation or related field. At least 2 years of experience installing solar power systems on RVs or similar vehicles. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certification from a recognized solar power installation program preferred.
