ROUTE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALISTS - SEMI DRIVERS Our Route Transportation Specialists (Semi Drivers) are very valuable members in our business. They work with internal team on daily basis shuttling our products to and from our production facility and warehouses during their 4-day work week. They make sure our route team has what they need, when they need it in order to service our customers appropriately. Description This position is a FOUR DAY work week, typically Monday through Thursday Essential Functions Delivers all product to the designated location utilizing a semi Verify vehicle is in working order by completing a daily vehicle inspection Drive safely and in compliance with driving and vehicle regulations Manually load and secure full and empty laundry carts onto vehicle Load piece ends off of the rack manually Ensure all product is received prior to leaving for the day by doing a daily check in with Plant Manager Unload all carts and piece ends organized accordingly by route Reports any vehicle problems to the supervisor Maintain a CDL, clean driving record and a DOT Physical Medical Certificate Experience/Knowledge High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred 2-3 years driving/delivery experience preferred Work Requirements Must have a Class A CDL Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug/alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical) Must have and maintain a safe driving record Ability to work during all seasons with exposure to outside elements
