We currently have a growing staff that represent us at healthcare organizations across the US with a large presence in the mid-atlantic region. We provide healthcare IT and operational support. Our services include project management and SME support for system implementations and conversions, including Clinical, HIM, CDI, Coding, IT and Rev Cycle. ROI/HEDIS Audit Specialist Description: e4 is seeking ROI Audit support staff for an onsite role printing/mailing documentation for HEDIS and other billable commercial risk adjustment reviews. Release of Information Specialist is responsible for accurately releasing medial record information pursuant to requests from various sources, according to WCHN policies and HIPAA regulations. Hours: Contract through June with possibility of extension, 40hrs, M-F (between normal business hours 6am-6pm) Responsibilities: Will need some experience supporting ROI HEDIS audits Knowledgeable in all appropriate client policies that apply to confidentiality, release of information, HIPAA and where to locate various components of the official medical record Uses knowledge of content and organization of day surgery, emergency department and other outpatient medical records across all medical specialties to accurately prep, electronically organize, and/or analyze medical records filing and retrieving paper or electronic medical records performing quality control and validation activities to ensure all documents belong to the correct patient and account manipulating electronic images as needed to insure that documents are organized in accordance with the forms hierarchy maintaining equipment other activities assigned by department management. Experience, Education and Training Minimum: Associates Degree in Health Information Technology or another closely related health care field required. Will consider two years experience in Health Information Management performing medical record analysis, record assembly or scanning in lieu of education requirement hospital Health Information Management Department experience preferred Interpersonal skills in order to communicate tactfully with peers and the professional staff Demonstrated knowledge of computers, specifically intermediate use of Microsoft Word and Excel Possess a general knowledge of the content of a medical record including basic regulatory requirements Must demonstrate outstanding communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
