RN Nurse Navigator - Trios Gastroenterology

Description:
The Gastroenterology Nurse Navigator functions on the team as an advocate, screener, and educator for patients by facilitating timely access to quality care in clinic and endoscopy lab. - He/she will serve as a liaison throughout the clinic and in coordination with other departments within Trios. Education Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Experience Minimum 3 years' acute care nursing experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Licensure/Certifications Current Washington State RN license and BLS required. - -Gastroenterology certified nurse preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Organization - strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Communication - ability to concisely communicate with all levels of staff. Problem solving - ability to assess issues, plan action and execute on plan to successful outcomes. Ability to function both independently and as a team player. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Ability to develop supportive and team building environment.
