The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) is a not-for-profit, community-based multispecialty group practice of medicine. PAMF patients are cared for by the more than 1,000 physicians from the 4 historic medical groups affiliated with PAMF: Camino, Palo Alto, Santa Cruz and Mills-Peninsula. PAMF provides care to patients at its clinics and medical centers throughout Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. Collectively, we do our utmost to enhance the well-being of the people in our communities through compassion, excellence and innovation.The RN Clinical Supervisor for Cardiology/Anticoagulation will assist with the day-to-day operations of department. Responsible for supervision, education and mentoring of personnel, overseeing department staffing, implementation of new and existing policies and procedures and participating in committee meetings and project work. Acts as a coach, mentor and problem solver for staff and physicians in the department.Graduate of an accredited RN program with current California license. A min of 5 yrs previous progressive background in clinical nursing, preferably an ambulatory setting. 1 Yr of nursing supervision background,clinical coordinator, or charge background. Demonstrates expertise to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct the activities of clinical personnel and projects. Expertise to influence and manage change. Effective oral and writing expertise. Communicates well with staff and higher level management. Works with clinical manager/clinical director as a team. Must possess:Current CPR certificationCurrent ACLS certificationExcellent organization, interpersonal, written and spoken communication abilities.Expertise to accept, lead, adapt to and evaluate change.Basic computer knowledge and skills.
