Risk and Compliance Business Partner 12-month Secondment One Strawberry Lane with Hybrid working c£36,000 pa and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong Join us in our fantastic role of Risk & Compliance Business Partner for Home Group, supporting us to deliver an outstanding Risk & Compliance service to the organisation. We all need someone to look out for us, watch our backs and keep us on the right path. As a member of the team you’ll advise, monitor, and help test our compliance with applicable laws and regulations, supporting policy risk owners to manage their risks and responsibilities, making sure we do things the right way! Typical day as a Risk & Compliance Business Partner Support the organisation in awareness and understanding of all regulatory requirements Recommend actions required to maintain ongoing compliance Horizon scanning, seeing how the world is changing and how we can stay ahead of regulatory and legislative changes Gather assurance that we are doing the right things, actively tracking the completion of risk mitigation and compliance actions Working with accountable colleagues to test and report on compliance Role modelling the requirements of our Risk Management Framework Support in embedding Risk Management into the culture of the organisation Updating Senior leaders, audit committees and boards Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better. You bring Ability to effectively challenge, negotiate and positively influence stakeholders at all levels Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders Discretion in handling confidential information Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to social housing and care Experience of horizon scanning.
