I. Summary Statement Provides Revenue Management analytical support. Provides recommendations for improving revenue opportunities in line with corporate strategies. Provides regular analysis and reporting of rate and revenue strategies and tactics. II. Organization This position has no direct reports. III. Primary Duties Accountabilities Primary point of contact for revenue mangers for reporting qualifications. Provides on-demand data analysis to assist revenue managers during their hotel consultations. Monitors targeted properties to track progress and identify areas of improvement. Compiles reporting and provides insights and recommendations based on critical analysis of rate revenue strategies and tactics. Develops and leads additional ad hoc analyses to identify and understand key revenue metrics at property, brand, and regional levels. Monitors targeted properties and market segments to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement. Develops reporting and analysis tools for hotels, revenue managers, field staff, and corporate stakeholders. Summarizes and communicates revenue trends and analysis on corporate, brand, region, portfolio and property levels to relevant audiences. IV. Skills, Educational Experience Experience -- Education, Experience, Knowledge -- Bachelors degree in Hotel Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related background. Understanding of statistical and data analysis -- Skills -- Strong verbal, written and listening communication abilities Strong analytical reasoning skills to include storage, retrieval, matching and execution skills. -- Abilities -- Able to apply high-level critical thinking skills to understand and solve complex problems having multiple complex variables, e.g expertise to apply previously observed market performance behaviors to new circumstances for the purpose of testing theories / approaches to revenue management tactics.
