Avera is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the team!! May be eligible for a $15,000-$20,000 Sign On Bonus with a 2-3 year commitment! This position will float to other Avera Hospitals within South Dakota when needed Are you a Respiratory Therapist that: Enjoys delivery care with a team passionate about quality patient outcomes Appreciates an active, challenging care environment that requires critical thinking Is seeking to develop relationships by providing respiratory therapies, education & companionship with patients as well as their families If you have a passion and desire to enrich lives and touch the hearts of patients, consider joining our team in providing compassionate, high quality care and services within a caring Christian culture. Position Highlights: Multi-disciplinary rounding to optimize patient care delivery to include respiratory therapy patient driven protocols Involved in code blue, rapid response, high risk deliveries and arterial blood draws Adult, pediatric and neonatal ventilator management including nitric oxide and oscillatory Ability to participate in out of house transports to include newborns, pediatric, and adult Education and/or Experience Rotating 12 hour shifts Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Respiratory Therapist in the State of South Dakota is required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required within 6 months of hire date. Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $26.25 - $39.50 per hour What Makes Avera Special?
