The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on various projects across the United States. They will handle agreements related to project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contracts, utilizing strong written and oral communication skills. Duties:Work with clients in the clean energy industry on project development and finance mattersHandle agreements related to power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contractsProvide legal advice and support on renewable energy projectsConduct legal research and draft legal documentsNegotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clientsCollaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on renewable energy projectsKeep abreast of legal developments in the renewable energy industry Requirements:2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contractsExperience working in the renewable energy industry preferredStrong written and oral communication skills Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state Bar Skills:Experience with power purchase agreements and other renewable energy contractsStrong understanding of project finance and commercial transactionsExcellent negotiation and drafting skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency in legal research and writing Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life, ADD, EAP, STD, and LTD insuranceEnhanced parental leave and Off Ramp/On Ramp programVoluntary income protection benefits such as supplemental life, accident, critical illness, and long-term care insurance401(k)-retirement plan with company match Committed to the highest level of service and loyalty to clients, this full-service firm uses teamwork to maximize strength and enjoy accomplishments together.
