Title: REGISTERED NURSE/RN - ED - PRN, VARIED SHIFTSLocation: GA-RoswellOther Locations:Under the direction of the Department Director, performs a variety of direct patient care, works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused, and strives to meet unit and hospital goals. Provides quality nursing care according to established practice standards and guidelines for the areas assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or BACKGROUNDLicensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Previous hospital background desired in area specialty.REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONSLicensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Advanced certification field of specialty / ability encouraged. BLS certification required, ACLS certification required within six months of employment. PALS / ENPC certification required within six months of employment. TNCC required for all full time and part time staff within 1 yr of employment (required for PRN employees at Director's discretion). OTHER REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS and KNOWLEDGEDemonstrates theoretical and clinical ability and the application of knowledge thereof, in the assigned specialty. Participation in professional organizations encouraged. Good interpersonal communication abilities and customer service skills. Must become familiar with hospital computer system.
