The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Greater Middle Georgia Community As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will develop and administer basic primary care screening and care for uninsured individuals served at River Edge who struggle with access to basic care. The RN will serve under clinical supervision of the Director of Nursing & administrative supervision of CMHC Grant Project Director. Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to develop of primary care screening as well as on-site vaccination & primary care protocols for grant focus population(s). Contribute to development of care coordination protocols for focus populations served by River Edge and receiving primary care from outside primary care practices. Review agency's primary care screening results monthly and stratify focus population by risk for linkage to local FQHC or on-site service through vaccination & care protocols. Perform behavioral health assessment as required, nursing assessment of health needs. Minimum Training & Experience: A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse (RN). Preferred Qualifications: Fully COVID Vaccinated. Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing field. All selected applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
