Description: Our client, in the healthcare sector of Ontario, is currently seeking a Red Hat Linux Specialist, ideallly with advanced knowledge of QCPR, a legacy, Linux-based Clinical Information System. The ideal Red Hat Linux Specialist will likely have strong scripting skills and be a naturally curious problem solver who enjoys taking on a challenge and finding a creative solution. Responsibilities: Simplify the structure of an archival system, removing services no longer needed Developing a script that initiates the IPL for QCPR upon restart. Testing the developed script and remediating any issues. Temporarily providing support until all bugs in the script have been resolved. Requirements: Expertise in Red Hat Linux/Unix (Red Hat 7.6) and cache databases. Expert in Shell scripting, specifically automation. Strong analysis and communication skills. Prior experience working with the QCPR application. Familiarity with Hyper-V. Must be eligible to work in Canada. Note: Please submit your resume detailing all relevant experience and certifications.
