SEEKING experienced Recreation Therapist, CTRS to join our Parkridge Valley Team!
The Recreation Therapist Assesses and plans for the therapeutic needs of the adult patient.
a.) Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
b.) Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's qualifications relative to his/her age-specific needs.
c.) Demonstrate knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
d.) Asses and plans for the therapeutic leisure needs of the adult patient.
Job qualifications:
? BS degree in recreation field required.
? 3yrs of background in the care of psychiatric inpatients preferred.
? CTRS certification required.
