As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced Receiving Supervisor to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing environment. The Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the receiving department, managing incoming shipments, coordinating with vendors, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supervising a team of receiving personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to optimize receiving processes for efficiency and accuracy. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. What you will be doing: Ensuring Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are being adhered to as well as complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations and enforcement of same. Supervise and manage the Receiving department, including receiving clerks and material handlers. Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments, verifying quantities, quality, and specifications against purchase orders. Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials and products. Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between receipts and inventory records. Ensure compliance with receiving procedures and company policies.
