My client, who is a specialist subcontractor in the construction industry, provides major organisations with dry lining, suspended ceilings, fire protection, facades and screening. Here you will work as part of the commercial team, managing all costs relating to the project where you will always seek to find efficiencies and savings while maintaining the quality customers expect. As the Quantity Surveyor, you will lead on valuations, variations and payments, reporting these to senior management. As the Quantity Surveyor you will: Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, financially and contractually, in order to secure full entitlements under the contract. Identify, secure and deliver the business forecast in both turnover and margin. Obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends. Assist in the production of cost value reports and forecast cash recovery and ensure that both are kept In line with target. Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements. Monitor internal expenditure against the budget. Seek opportunities to maximise value and minimise costs in line with company values. Ensure all customers and stakeholders have exceptional customer service and work to achieve outstanding delivery of all projects. Job Requirements: Skills sought: Experience with Drylining, Main contractor experience, Computer literate, Able to use Microsoft packages. You will primarily be based in East Susinteraction where the majority of the projects are relatively local, so you wont be having to travel too far when site visits are required.
