Job: Quantity Surveyor Location: Kent and Southeast Salary: GBP46,000 : GBP53,000 + package Contract Type: Full time, permanent position Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? MUST READ As the Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the project team, ensuring the successful delivery of residential developments across the Southeast. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for residential construction projects Collaborating with the project team to establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier agreements to secure the best value for the company Managing and controlling costs throughout the project life cycle, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies Conducting regular site visits to backss progress and identify any variations or issues that may impact project costs Maintaining accurate and up: to: date records of all financial transactions related to the project Collaborating with other departments to optimise cost: effectiveness and efficiency in project delivery Quantity Surveyor Requirements: Youre currently operating as a Quantity Surveyor with circa 5+ years experience Residential Developer experience is essential for this role Based within commutable distance to cover the Southeast region To find out more, Sam from the Brighton office today Randstad Construction Property Engineering is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
