The Role: As an Accuracy Checking Technician, you will collaborate with the pharmacist to conduct precise final checks and offer technical support in medicine supply. Responsibilities: Select, label, compound, and dispense medical products. Ensure safe transfer of dispensed items to patients. Identify and address medicine-related problems or queries. Maintain patient medication records PMR and ensure patient safety. Receive and manage stock in accordance with SOPs. Liaise with healthcare professionals for patient care continuity. Assist with service provision to care homes and advanced services. Make simple dilutions or extemporaneous products. Stay updated on medical matters through Continuing Professional Development CPD. Requirements: Previously worked as an Accuracy Checking Technician or in a similar role. At least 1 year of experience in shop. Level 2 NVQ, BTEC, or Diploma in shop service skills and medical science Skilled in IT applications and numerically adept.
