Responsibilities:QA Consultants ensure that client quality expectations are satisfied by planning, managing, and performing manual, automated, and performance testing on client applications in accordance with CTS quality assurance methodologies. Work directly with appropriate client and CTS personnel to understand project concept, objectives and approach of software engineering projectsPerform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing, taking part in every phase of the Software engineering Life-cycle (SDLC)Prepare system test plansLead onsite and remote testing teamsEnsure that all test items follow established change management processes and are tested and tracked using the provided test management softwareCollaborate with teammates to identify, research, and evaluate new technologiesProactively identify business needs and propose technology solutionsCreate software documentation including requirements, design, and user manualsCommunicate with and influence non-technical staff including managersProvide proactive guidance to other engineers Requirements: BS in Computer Science, MIS or directly related degree required5+ years of quality assurance background, including background leading a teamFamiliarity with all aspects of testing including functional, regression, load and system testingSolid understanding of the Software engineering Lifecycle (SDLC)Expertise to prepare systems test plans is highly desiredBackground with HP Quality Center and/or TFS preferred
