Psychology physician employment in Kansas : Serve as a marriage and family therapist providing individual, marital, family and couples group clinical counseling services to adults and children. Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified problems and treatment needs for each case. Collect information about clients (individuals, married couples, or families), using interview, case history, and observation techniques, and assessment methods. Evaluate results of counseling methods to determine the effectiveness of treatment used. Interacts with other professionals to discuss therapy or treatment. Regularly coordinate with other clinics, family advocacy programs, chaplain services, schools, social service agencies, and other organizations that support families on and off of the installation.
