PAC Engineering provides engineering support in protective relay design, settings, commissioning, and fault analysis. PAC Engineering also provides support in designing, configuring, and commissioning of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. What It Takes To Succeed The two base requirements for this position include: • You must have completed at least your Freshman year of college. • You should be in or planning to complete a technical/science/math degree. Majors such as Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering will be given preference. We challenge our interns with real work. Sometimes that will be unexciting administrative tasks and sometimes it will be difficult technical tasks. Education College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management. Additional Information Pay Structure/Hours/Schedule: This is a paid opportunity for a student working a minimum of 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday. However, work hours and schedules may fluctuate based on departmental needs. Applicants must be enrolled and attending a minimum of six (6) college credits per semester (100 or higher-level courses). Pay rate is $18.75 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.80 per hour for a graduate intern. This internship may require you to work an onsite-only work schedule without the availability to telework. Hybrid Workplace SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
