Their wide: ranging expertise includes building surveying, valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, commercial property management, and sales and lettings. The Role The company are seeking an experienced Property Management Accountant to join the team at the head office in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day: to: day financial control of the property management department, covering tasks such as rent and service charge collection, purchase and sales administration reconciliations, banking, annual service charge accounts, client VAT returns, and other related accounting functions. Person Specification The company are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible individual with an enquiring mind and a keen interest in property management. The successful candidate should be capable of planning their own time effectively, demonstrating good attention to detail and thoroughness in their work. A flexible and can: do attitude, along with the ability to multi: task and meet deadlines to a high standard, is essential. Key Responsibilities Weekly tasks include downloading bank transactions, managing purchase ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, and issuing rent and service charge demands. Monthly duties involve rent payments to clients, liaising with property surveyors, handling queries, setting up clients, properties, and tenants, and assisting with various team duties. Quarterly responsibilities include preparing and checking VAT returns for clients.
