SUMMARY: Responsible for delivery and distribution of propane to homes, farms and businesses in a safe manner. Responsible for delivery of fertilizer and chemicals to customers and applicators in the field. Works with operations staff to maintain equipment and facilities. Provides high level of customer service. Performs any other tasks requested by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability and willingness to work overtime - includes weekends and holidays, at times CETP certification or ability to obtain PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Knowledge of location farms and roads Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or high level of agronomy knowledge Previous experience as a Propane Driver and/or Tender Driver PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to moving, mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, internal and external temperature/weather conditions, chemicals, and extended work days. Position requires the ability to drive a truck, lifting weights of sixty (60) pounds or less, bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weights of less than fifty (50) pounds.
