Job Description: The Design Coordinator reports to the Development Manager(s) and is accountable for providing support to the team to effectively administer project delivery. The Design Coordinator assists the Development and Construction Managers in the overall planning and scheduling, optimizing resource allocation, project accounting and control, document management and filing, handling change of scope, inventory control, procurement, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, throughout the total project from inception to completion. The Design Coordinator under supervision of the Development Manager(s) works closely with the team on Interior Design, Finishes coordination and related scopes. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES : Participate complete life cycle of project. Participate materials/finishes selections and design coordination for the project(s). Work closely with internal Import team with all coordination where required and issue IPO and follow up to ensure all required products to be delivered on site on time and under overall project budget. Perform internal small interior design tasks as required. Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project if required by project managers. Work closely with project delivery team to co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved with the project, including the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
