This employer is Huddersfield based, meaning the successful Production Planner will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Castleford, Pontefract, Wakefield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Wetherby and Harrogate. For the Production Planner position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess: Previous experience working a in similar role Coordination, Scheduling, Planning etc within an Engineering or Manufacturing organisation. Pro-active with strong organisation skills, with the ability to identify materials shortages, manufacturing bottlenecks or external supply issues Strong computer skills with previous experience working on MRP/ERP systems. Accurate maintenance of manufacturing schedules & plans, with a view of maintaining high levels of efficiency and improving processes/procedures where possible A keen eye for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc. In return, the Production Planner will receive: Annual Salary: Up to £35,000.00Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays.
