Product Development Engineer Fort Payne, AL In this high-growth role you will design and validate electrical systems for on-highway, vocational mobile equipment. Other responsibilities include working with suppliers to make electrical system component selections, developing and maintaining software for PLCs/Controllers, and assisting production with electrical system diagnostics. Support of shop floors issues as they arise will also be expected. This position, which is open due to a recent promotion, offers remarkable grow opportunity for the successful applicant; he or she may move from the Sustaining Design department to the Development Team and beyond. To qualify, candidates should hold a BSEE or BSEET and at least 3 yrs background within a similar industry. A strong understanding of the mechanics of wiring harnesses and electrical circuitry should be a given. The perfect applicant will have extensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Pro-E 3D software or comparable 3D CAD software.
