FSG is seeking a Procurement Specialist who is highly skilled at seeking surplus materials for strategic inventories and various supply programs. This position is based in Leatherhead, United Kingdom. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the ideal candidates for this role will use their passion for aviation, research, and negotiation to make an impact on company expenditures and cost controls. They will be responsible for managing various procurement functions including data/intel management and program support, as well as brokering and making strategic purchases. Responsibilities: Perform research, qualification, and selection of sources for brokered and rotatable / commercial aircraft engine or airframe parts Restock generally needed engine and airframe parts for various programs Prepare, solicit, and evaluate competitive bids Negotiate the best possible cost positions Generate.
