Description:

High-school/GED Required

Position details:

• Preparing sections of human tissue for surgical implantation.

• Utilizes special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape, grind and package tissue to exacting specifications and protocols.

• Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry where required.

• Performs Lab Support functions of the set-up and breakdown of rooms, handling of donor tissue, maintaining supples and equipment on a daily basis.

• Proper disposal of BioHazardous waste.

• Performs under the direction of a senior or master processor.

Education/Background Required and/or Preferred:

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.

• One-year background in a lab setting preferred.

• Prior background with machining equipment and tools is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must demonstrate the expertise to work in a team setting and handle all situations in a professional manner.

• Must have expertise to create finished products according to SOP’s and specifications.

• Must possess expertise to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of processing equipment.

• Must be comfortable in lab setting and have some basic technical skills.
