About the role:We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and creative individual to join our high:performing Process Development team. This position works cross:functionally to lead process development of complex technologies on innovative products, drive/develop business activities and rapid prototyping execution, and ensure efficient and effective transfer of products from concept to commercialization. This opportunity will require you to work hands:on in a fast:paced environment across multiple functions in a global medical device company. This role offers the opportunity to support process development and product commercialization throughout Boston's global plant network. You will be partnering cross:functionally with a technically strong, experienced, and highly engaged team. Key responsibilities: :Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes.:Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.:Develops capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production.:Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.:Prepares and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.:Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.:Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM's, Routers, FMEA's, etc.):Oversees development builds associated with the project using special work requests.:Develops qualified production lines.:Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package.:Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions.:Trains and/or provides work direction to technicians and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation.:May serve as core team member or extended team member on new product projects.Required qualifications: :Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field:2+ years post education experience in an engineering rolePreferred qualifications: :Experience in clean room manufacturing highly preferred:Medical device or other regulated industry experience:Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics to drive improvements:Demonstrated understanding of problem solving and root cause investigations:Expertise in Operations and/or New Product Development:Experience with Test Method Validation:Experience with Process Verification and Validation:Experience with Nitinol manufacturing:Demonstrated cross functional collaboration and influence in a technical environment:Excels in a collaborative, cross:site environment:Potential for travel up to 10 of their timeLI:Hybrid Requisition ID:582666 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety:sensitive positions.
