Building: Charlevoix Elementary School Description: Charlevoix Public Schools is implementing a new 3-year-old preschool program. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for 3-year-old children. They will be expected to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. Requirements: High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Experience with children in educational setting and/or licensed program Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with young children and their parents. Emotional resilience to handle the challenges of working with young children Ability to complete required reports and follow curriculum Reports To: Tricia Petrosky Beginning Date: 2024-2025 school year Hours: M-F mornings with the possibility of additional afternoon hours in childcare.
