Who We Are Excess Reinsurance, a market leader in the self-funded medical insurance market, has a full- time position in its busy policy administration department. Policy Specialists process applications, policy changes, and issue policies in compliance with carrier guidelines. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and have the ability to perform repetitive routine tasks with accuracy and consistency. Policy Specialists process applications, and policy changes, and issue policies in compliance with carrier guidelines. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to perform repetitive routine tasks with accuracy and consistency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares applications and issues stop loss policies as directed by the underwriter and in complete compliance with the issuing carriers' and state guidelines. Handle customer inquiries and service issues professionally and within company-established standards. Maintains electronic files with proper documentation. Initiates and maintains producer licensing and appointments. Education and/or Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office Detail orientated Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree or business experience Insurance background a plus ***For this opportunity, you will be required to attend the office 4x a week.*** Excess Reinsurance offers a competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), and paid time off.Excess Reinsurance is located in Woodbury, NJ approximately 12 miles from Philadelphia.
