Job title: Plasterer Application closing date: Ongoing (until filled) Location: Within the borough of Barnet Salary: £33,454 plus £3,796 Market Supplement active until July 2025 Package: Flexible benefit & pensions allowance of 5% of your base salary Use of a company van for business use only including fuel card5% retention bonus (of annual salary) payable after a years service Contractual hours: 40 Basis: Full time The Vacancy The Barnet Group is currently seeking to recruit a Plasterer to work directly within the Barnet Homes DLO Repairs Service. You will be responsible for reactive maintenance within properties and estates around the London Borough of Barnet. You will undertake the following duties: Undertaking reactive plastering duties including Updating jobs on the electronic PDA system, including appropriate and legible notes, updates on job statuses and photographs Diagnosing faults and issues and taking appropriate action including arranging follow on works where necessary Coding works on completion to ensure visibility of materials used and actual repairs undertake We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes: Suitable and relevant Plastering qualification Experience of working in reactive plastering / tiling maintenance (5 years minimum) Prior experience in working within Social Housing Full UK Driving License Able to supply own basic hand tools and electrical tools Safe usage of power tools in accordance with Health and Safety legislation Understanding of H&S and safe working practices Prior use of a PDA system, including updating jobs with notes, photographs, and outcomes Willing to undergo a DBS check What’s in it for you?
