PIA Manager - READING Job purpose: The PIA Manager is the subject matter expert on all Openreach (PIA) technical aspects of outside plant such as ducts, poles, cables etc. and associated build practices such as cabling, civils etc. Key responsibilities: Ensure compliance with specified PIA Engineering Principles and related contractual commitments. Periodically conducts PIA related audits and reviews to ensure PIA compliance standards. Maintain record of compliance backssments and duly notify his manager and the senior management team of conditions that do not meet set standards and engineering principles. Supports Regional Build Managers and Build assurance engineers developing the auditing system to align PIA Audit forms. Writes and distributes documents that educate others on how to improve on compliance. Issue guidelines to internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the PIA product is fully integrated from start to finish. Takes on a PIA Field support responsibilities to check & validate queries, review with the relevant stakeholders at Openreach. Stay on track with changing engineering principles and updates on the PIA product. Creates PIA Performance metrics for each region and project and completes comprehensive reporting at the C level. Key requirements: Requires good understanding of PIA Product Description and associated contracts, Engineering Principles and Accreditations. Good understanding of SDEDs, Bulk Pole Testing, Missing inventory process, Network Adjustments, Build complete. Ref UNI061. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
