Job details Salary $65 - 80/hour Job Type Full-time, Part-time, PRN Qualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA (Required) Overview/Job Purpose: We are seeking multiple physician assistants or nurse practitioners to work within our team oriented provider group and medical family at Duke City Urgent Care's network of clinics in Albuquerque and Los Lunas. This position's purpose is to provide a high standard of care for a wide range of acute and subacute conditions. Our goal is to provide fast, friendly, quality care to the residents of NM! Summary of Primary Duties: As a DCUC provider, you will be expected to evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of primarily acute health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice practitioner, you'll be entrusted with ensuring the best patient care possible. You will be both a health practitioner and an educator, initiating disease management and prevention practices in helping people lead healthy lives. We have an expanded scope of practice including many ER specific procedures. Our ideal candidate will have urgent care or emergency care knowledge. We pride ourselves on providing training and support to expand your knowledge and comfort with procedures. If you are a new graduate, we offer a mandatory extensive training and preceptor program. Job Responsibilities: Obtaining appropriate medical and conditions history Forming broad differential diagnosis Performing procedures (I&D, fracture stabilization, slit lamp, FD removal, wound care and laceration repair, toe-nail removal, joint/dislocation reduction, and more) Occasionally referring or transferring patients for additional care Emergency management skills
