Pest Control Technician, Pest Controller, Pest Control, Pest Technician, Pest, BPCA, Technician Pest Control Technician Fumigation Location: Warrington / Halton, Cheshire Salary: £22k - £30k + Excellent Benefits Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm The Client: Our client is a prominent provider of specialised pest control services with a focus on bird control, they deliver unique solutions to clients across the UK. The Role: As a Specialist Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in providing fumigation, bird control, and pest control services at client sites. Responsibilities: Perform manual handling tasks, including covering fumigation areas with gas-proof materials. Maintain fitness levels for activities involving self-contained breathing apparatus SCBA in challenging environments. Generate electronic reports, discuss treatments, and obtain client signatures. Report daily to the Widnes office for work assignments. Undertake bird husbandry responsibilities and ensure safe transportation of birds to and from client sites. Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment PPE and respiratory gear. Requirements: Previously worked as a Service Technician or in a similar role. Ideally have Level 3 and/or Level 2 RSPH/BPCA safe use of fumigants qualification. Experience working with birds of prey. Desirable CRB disclosure. Basic IT skills. Strong DIY skills for pest-proofing work. Capability to work at heights and in challenging environments. Valid UK driving license.
