Part Time Caretaker Ipswich Homelessness Services GBP 10.84 25 hours per week : Working in a flexible way, covering four shifts per week. Sanctuary Supported Living is the largest provider of housing related support to single homeless people in Suffolk and Norfolk. The aim of our services is to ensure our customers achieve their own goals and aspirations through the support and encouragement of our staff and focusing on delivering excellent quality. We are currently seeking a Caretaker to play a vital role in preparing vacant properties for re: let, completing scheme: based repairs and maintaining a safe and well: presented environment across a number of our schemes. The primary focus of our services is to support customers in a range of areas including, finding employment, recovery from addiction and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to suitable long: term accommodation appropriate to their needs. As a Caretaker across our Homeless Supported Housing service, you will support our operational teams by carrying out general maintenance in the schemes and grounds, whilst respecting the privacy and dignity of clients within the schemes. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, open manner are essential for success in this role.
