Our global Analytics and Decisions team, a vital part of Hatch Digital, is dedicated to creating digital solutions that empower our clients to achieve optimal asset and operational performance in the mining and metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors. We are currently in search of a co-op student for a 4 to 8-month term, who will specialize in one of the following technical areas: (1) Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) or (2) Mathematical Optimization. The role involves developing technologies and solutions that support our client's day-to-day operations. Working under the guidance of a senior technical lead, the student's primary responsibilities may include business requirement analysis, market research, ML/AI and/or value chain optimization model development, and deploying these models within an online digital twin solution based on the Microsoft.
